Welcome
Since the legalization of abortion in 1973, there have been approximately 50 million abortions performed in the United States. In the years since abortion was legalized, a number of studies have reported both positive and negative consequences of this procedure. While much has been learned concerning the effects of abortion on the men and women involved, there is still much more to be discovered. This website has been established for the sole purpose of collecting data concerning the effects of elective abortion on men and women.
Four populations will be surveyed through this site. These populations include:
- women who have experienced abortion
- men whose female partners have experienced abortion
- both men and women who have lost a grandchild by abortion
- medical personnel who are currently working or who have worked in an abortion facility
We would greatly appreciate your taking the time to help us learn more about the effects of abortion by completing one or more of the surveys offered here. Anyone may participate in this research provided he/she is at least 18 years of age and has experienced the loss of a child or a grandchild by abortion or who has worked in an abortion facility. Participation is entirely voluntary. If you choose to respond to a survey and you find it distressing, you may stop at any time. All participants will remain anonymous and the results of this research will be presented in a manner which protects the confidentiality of all respondents.
Specific questions regarding this research may be forwarded through the "contact" option on the sidebar. Referrals for counseling may be found at "links" (see sidebar). If you are interested in participating in one of the surveys, simply click on the appropriate icon or on "surveys." Thank you for your interest in this research.
