- High Tea & Talk with SAGE - Dane's Grumpy Old Gay Geezers
@ Full Monty's Blue Plate Diner on Atwood Ave. across from the
Barrymore Theatre. We're thinking about the possibility of putting
this thing on wheels occasionally by driving with goodies to some
folks who are shut-ins.

- "Happy Together" - in Chinese with English subtitles, directed
by Wong Kar-Wai (Chungking Express) was named Best Director at the
1997 Cannes Film Festival for this movie made by two men, the
second is Christopher Doyle: use of experimental techniques. Film
is at UW-Milwaukee @ 7 pm, Student Union, 2 nd floor on Kenwood
Blvd @ Maryland Ave.; park in basement. Although it is not being
advertised as such, it IS a gay movie, & my Chinese
connections say it is wonderful. $ 4.50 general admission, $ 3.50
seniors & students. Let's do dinner in Beerberg after the
flick; decide en route. Leave 4701 Judy Lane @ 5 pm

with great refreshments at half-time. Let's do dinner first @ the
dyke bar, San Antonio's, in Waterloo located in the first block
north (left) of the center of town, which is something like Main
& Monroe, for great hamburgers. Although the performance is @
8 pm, car pool from 4701 Judy Lane in Madison @ 5:30 pm; FMI

- UW Choral Union will be performing Schubert's Mass in A-flat
major on Thursday, April 23 (7:30pm) and Saturday, April 25 (8:00
pm). Tickets are $10 ($5 for seniors), available at the UW Vilas
Hall box office (but not yet). Of course, we all know there are no
gays in a choir. Ditto for organists.

their spring Gay Pride "Out & About" series of events. Be on
