MAY - 1998

1 - Remember the Haymarket (Chicago) massacre by the Chicago police (1886)

1 - Friday - 3:30 to 5 pm
High Tea & Talk is an organization-free (no longer associated with SAGE-Dane) opportunity for senior men and their friends who enjoy the company of other men to gather on Friday afternoons for laughing and scratching, talking, arguing, beastly sociable and pondering (conferring with our fellow Wizards) all the problems related to our mutual orientation with the Universe. We have been known to visit house or hospital bound cronies, go off to shows or bars and plan raids on Sunday brunch buffets. Serious discussion sometimes breaks out but moves frequently to contagious bouts of hilarity. There have been times when some of us march in the July GALVANize Parade. SHAKE IT UP! asks us to judge the annual POLITICAL EFFECTIVENESS Awards for the previous year. An equal opportunity social group, we support equality: activism & inaction, energy & sloth, fellowship & friendship. We meet @ Monty's Blue Plate Diner, 2089 Atwood Ave, Madison, WI., and is wheel chair accessible. FMI: 257-9751
