Web sites providing information
The following sections provide Web links to State of Wisconsin or U.S. Federal Government information sites. Just click onto the appropriate heading to access the Web site you want.
Agencies and information for Federal Government
and for all US States
First Government:
You can find either Federal or State agencies and departments by
browsing this site. It appears to cover all agencies and departments
at the Federal and State level (including all US States).
State of Wisconsin agencies and information
Wisconsin.gov:
This is the State of Wisconsin's information server and a starting
point to guide you to the many resources available from Wisconsin
state agencies, departments and other governmental branches. It also
provides web links to information resources at the University of
Wisconsin campuses, as well as sources from other states and the
federal government.
U.S. Federal Government Agencies
Directory for Federal Government agencies: This web page is a
directory of U. S. Federal Government agencies as represented in the
United States Government Manual. Indentations will inform you about
each institution's place in the Federal government hierarchy. Not
every level of organization is indexed here. Some organizations (such
as the Navy) have numerous sub-organizations and provide excellent
indexes from their home pages. If an institution is not represented
here, try the parent organization. No annotation will be provided.
This website is for people who know where they want to go, but don't
know the address. The website is searchable by keywords.
