Princess Diana Serviceberry

This is my third attempt at growing a serviceberry and I think I may have finally been successful. This selection originated in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's reported to have a very red fall color but as you can see by the picture here mine is more of a golden yellow. It's beautiful when the sun shines through it. Next spring it will have white flowers followed by red berries that turn dark blue. The're edible and very good, but the birds will probably get them before I can.
