Orbs

I'm not too crazy about the traditional, mirrored gazing globes, but I like the form of spheres so I've added a few purchased and home-made objects to my garden.

Blotchy, purple, blown glass ornament purchased at Northwind Perennial Farm

I filled rubber play ball with concrete to make a sphere but it came out a little mooshed looking so I covered it with colored glass.

To heck with making a concrete sphere. Here I just covered a glass light globe with colored glass.

I purchased this ball at work with my holiday bonus. It is a glazed ceramic sphere approximately fifteen inches in diameter.
