What's Growing?

My Plant Collection
Over the years I've tried to grow quite a few different plants in my garden. A while back I started trying to keep track of what I have. The first three links below will take you alphabetical lists, by genus, of both woody and herbaceous plants with links to pages of photos* and my opinionated commentary. The last link, The Big List, goes to a large table of everything whether I have a photo or not, including some tender plants I've played around with (photos of some of these are in the gallery section) as well as plants I've killed off in my gardening efforts. It's big and it's not pretty, but it might interest die-hard gardeners. At the moment, it has nearly 350 distinct species and cultivars and I still don't see any end to what I want to try.

*Yeah, about the photos. Some of them aren't too great. Most of these date from a time before the digital camera and some are from when I didn't know how to take a decent photo. My intention is to continually update with better photos, but for now, even the bad ones give you an idea of what a plant looks like, even if it does feel like you're looking at it through a dirty window.
