  • Wisconsin Celebrated 150 Years as a state in 1998. Check out what all the fuss was about.

  • Beer is one of Wisconsin's best products and my favorite beverage, but not just any brew!
    A favorite brew pub in Madison is the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. They have many different beers brewing all the time. Check out their site to see what is on tap.
    My favorite establishment in Madison is the Essen Haus / Come back In. They have 17 imported German biers on tap and over 200 various imported beers from around the world. Check out their site to see what up coming events they have going on.

    And for another type of brew, Ancora Coffee Roasters where you can get the freshest roast coffee in town. Now, you can even order their coffee over the net. It's too bad there is not software available to smell the coffee beans roasting.

  • While on Maui, our favorite place to stay is in Kihei - at Luana Kai. Be sure to ask about Cap't Steve and his great whale watching raft trip. If you visit in the winter season, this trip is not to be missed!
